Yacht Transport

Yachts Need Permits, Planning and the Right Equipment

A yacht move is a project, not a pickup. Most yachts are wide enough to need state oversize permits, many need escort vehicles, and some states limit when wide loads can travel. We plan the route, pull the permits, book a carrier with hydraulic yacht trailers, and keep you informed from marina to marina.

No yacht is too big to quote. Send us the dimensions and we'll plan the move.

How We Protect Your Yacht

Special Care for Every Yacht

Yachts ride on hydraulic trailers adjusted to the hull, with weight spread across multiple stands. Flybridges, arches, radar and antennas are measured, and removed where the route requires. Carrier insurance limits are confirmed against your yacht's value before booking.

  • Remove or secure electronics, canvas, enclosures and loose gear
  • Lower or remove radar arches, antennas and outriggers if height requires
  • Run fuel low, drain water and holding tanks, disconnect batteries
  • Secure doors, hatches, drawers and cabinets
  • Photograph interior and exterior before pickup

Yacht Transport FAQs

We quote yachts of every size. Larger boats need permits, escorts and route planning, and we handle all of it. Send your dimensions for a quote.

We do. It's built into your quote.

Carriers carry cargo insurance, which we verify. For high-value yachts we confirm the carrier's limit with you first, and recommend checking your yacht policy for transit coverage.
